About the Exhibition

KaNAM Gallery is pleased to present a selection of Hiroshi Senju’s prints from 1988 to the present to celebrate publishing the Complete Prints of Hiroshi Senju: A Catalogue Raisonne. The exhibition will be on view December 2, 2015—January 11, 2016.
The highlights of the exhibition will be his representative Waterfall, and more than 30 works including the newest set of four printings will also be on view.

Hiroshi Senju is the first Asian awarded Honorable Mention at 46th Venice Biennale, and he has been working on many public artworks such as Haneda Airport in Tokyo. It could be said that the artist is the leading figure of Japanese paintings today.
Printings are especially important for the artist’s career because they had a huge impact on making a decision to be an artist in his youth.
