A tanka poetry workshop was held

The rain from the previous night had stopped and it was a slightly cool day on Saturday, September 9rd.
We held a tanka workshop.

You will first hear about "contemporary tanka" at a seat in the atrium of the museum.
Even with just the simplest points, you can see surprised and surprised expressions such as "Oh, is that so?" or "Oh, I see..."

Finally it was time to take a look around and write a song.
A workshop is like a live concert, and it is common for the initial ideas or images to change in an unexpected direction midway through.
Each participant created a piece of art based on the words they found.

Glass in the forest is lovely, but electric poles seem unrefined. Why? Mr. NH

At the beginning of autumn, the wind and the glass are cool and touch my skin and my heart. NH

An ant running straight up a birch tree. From the moss garden, YK-san takes off into the sky.

A stroll through the singing forest surrounded by white birch trees. Taking a deep breath of the gentle breeze.

RM-san, standing like an attendee, whispering to the birch tree, only the wind blowing by

A glass box without a cross, with the smell of moss in the center, and only the wind passing through. RM

Collecting moon-like lights before a party at the forest house.

The white birch tree stretches to the sky, and when it catches the wind and lets go, a drizzle falls.

One question I sometimes get is, "I've never written a song before."
For most of the people who have participated so far, this has been the case for the first time.

"Tanka can be read anywhere, anytime. I hope everyone will feel at ease when participating. We look forward to seeing everyone." (Instructor: Yamauchi)
