We have reached full capacity and are now closing registration (as of 4:13 on April 10th).
The first workshop this year at the Karuizawa New Art Museum is "Make your own original cup." Together with painter Tomoya Moriizumi, you will paint a mug with a ceramic pen and bake it in a toaster oven. This is a workshop that has been held before and has been well-received. Why not decorate your dining table with an original mug? We are currently accepting reservations by phone!

REPORT
Within a few days of announcing the event, the capacity was filled, and the phone was ringing off the hook until the morning of the workshop, so we were surprised by the success. We expanded the capacity to 13 people in the morning and 16 people in the afternoon, to the limit of the number of mugs we had prepared as spares.
It was a day when the museum was filled with the lively voices of the energetic local children of Karuizawa, and their enthusiastic expressions and cheers echoed throughout the museum. All the finished products were masterpieces, and the smiles of satisfaction on the faces of the participants and their excitement at what they would drink from the mugs were palpable.
