Sunday, January 1th is Zebra Day! We held a Zebra World Workshop. We welcomed Uehara Kiro as our guest and created a world of zebras and zebras that cut paper printed with various gray and black stripes. Children and their mothers who participated in "Konnyaku de Petan Petan" at the end of November last year, as well as a local artist who brought their children, enjoyed interacting with Kiro himself. Before starting the production, the workshop began with a picture book called "Zebra Walk". The picture book has some overlaps with Kiro's Zebra series, with the stripes of the zebra becoming musical instruments, eyes, rivers, and trees, and the children listened intently with their eyes wide open. Afterwards, we went to the museum on the second floor to view "Zebra in Wonderland," which is themed around Kiro's zebras. Let me tell you what it was like.
