Whitestone Karuizawa will be holding a special exhibition called "Earth Scenery" in conjunction with the museum exhibition.
This exhibition will introduce a variety of contemporary art works, focusing on works by artists currently exhibiting in the museum's exhibition, "Irreplaceable Things - Earth, Landscapes, and the Environment."

Various living things, such as trees, flowers, and animals, coexist on the Earth we live in. By looking at these ordinary landscapes from a different perspective, we can become aware that we ourselves are also living things that exist on Earth.

The theme of this exhibition, "Landscape of the Earth," represents how everything on Earth is organically connected, including not only nature and the environment, but also people and the society that exists between them.
We hope that through the appreciation of art, visitors will have the opportunity to take a fresh look at the everyday scenery that they take for granted and the importance of the environment.

The exhibition will focus on environmental art, and will feature selected paintings that convey the importance of the global environment, including works that feature the mystery and beauty of nature as motifs, and works by artists involved with the environment.
