Fluxus: An art movement that brought together artists from around the world

Artists from various countries participated in the artistic movement started by George Maciunas from Lithuania in the 1960s. This movement, which started in Europe and developed in New York, was named "Fluxus" and pioneered new artistic fields regardless of genre such as art, music, and literature.

Although it was an underground movement at the time, it attempted to lay the foundations for many ideas currently being explored in art, such as conceptual art, performance art, multiple art, mixed media, and minimalism.

The main artists in this group were

In America, George Brecht, Robert Watts, Dick Higgins.

In Europe, Joseph Beuys, Ben Vautier, and Daniel Supéry.

In Asia, the list is diverse, including Nam June Paik, Yoko Ono, Ay-O, and Mieko Shiomi.
