In modern society, various styles of artistic expression exist and develop mutually. Forms of expression that were once divided into "pure art" and "popular art" and rarely related directly now influence each other, and expressions are developing in complex ways across multiple media. For us who act and think in a highly developed information society, it is no longer meaningful to think of each form of expression separately.
By displaying works from a wide range of fields across media and genres, this exhibition aims to allow visitors to gain a sense of the interconnectedness of the works, the development of expressive practices in modern society, and the current real situation.

(You can seriously read the explanatory panels, or just pay attention to the following points!)
①Pay attention to the title of the Connecting and Expanding Exhibition!
The words in the subtitle, "crossing borders" and "expanding," are synonyms of the title. Let's think about what "crossing" and "expanding" mean.
②What are the exhibits made of? Are they painted?
Is it a human? Huh? Is it some other strange figure? Some kind of imaginary creature? What is it doing?
③Who's making it?
It's true that humans are involved, but there are many things that cannot be made by one person alone.
4 What era is it from?
Some of the exhibits are very recent, while others date back to pre-war times, and visitors are reminded of the resonance that transcends time.
⑤ How do the artists express theirselves? What media do they use?
Painting, video, photography, sculpture, animation, AI?
⑥What is contemporary art anyway?
Music, vintage T-shirts, manga, videos... they say anything goes, but it's just the surface of the real world.
