About the Exhibition
Karuizawa New Art Museum is pleased to announce the exhibition” Ever-Evolving Worldwide Asian Artists Right Now 3!” focusing on prominent Japanese contemporary artists from our unique perspective. This is the commemorative third exhibition of our project over several times.
On this exhibition we would like to focus on “abstract painting” which emerged simultaneously in 1950’s around the world,
presenting the following 4 artists: Toshimitsu Imai, Hisao Domoto from Art Informel, Chiyu Uemae from Gutai art association and Yayoi Kusama.
It would be our great pleasure if you enjoy their wonderful world of diversity and originality.
