REPORT

The works of everyone who participated. They are all masterpieces.
We held a depaysement workshop.
Thanks to you, we had many customers visit us on the first and second days of a three-day weekend.
First, I explained the key point of this article, "depaysement."
A sense of incongruity in location, time, size, and material.
Participants will learn by looking at images of works by De Chirico, Magritte, and Oppenheim that have been prepared in advance, including a bear piece by Imai Alexandre that is currently on display in the exhibition.
After that, they chose one of ten different backgrounds, cut out some images to place on top of it, and pasted them wherever they liked to create a piece of art. They were interested to hear about the different types of collages.

The event was a great success, with many people attending not only from within Japan but also from overseas (China, America, Australia).
The participants' works (copies) are currently on display in the museum. We hope that this will spark interest in the exhibition on the second floor.
