Karuizawa New Art Museum offers chapel viewing hours three times per day of its glass chapel, designed by Kengo Kuma, the world-renowned architect known for such landmarks as the National Stadium and Takanawa Gateway Station.
Although you can't usually see them up close, you can take photos in the garden.

Time: 3 times daily 11, 13, 15 Time required: 5 to 15 minutes
*Chapel viewing will be limited to within 30 minutes from the above time.
Number of people: Around 10 people. There is no limit to the number of people allowed, but please be considerate of others and complete the tour within the allotted time.

Entry requirements:Those who have purchased an exhibition ticket (please present your ticket to the attendant before entering the chapel)

* Admission fees will be used to cover the maintenance of the moss and buildings.

*To help protect the moss, please walk slowly on the cobblestones (please be careful not to step into the moss area)
*In exceptional cases, when the exhibitions on the 2nd floor of the museum are being changed and the exhibitions are not available to view, only the chapel may be opened for viewing.
