Regarding Birch Moss Chapel Tours

The Karuizawa New Art Museum is holding tours of the glass-walled chapel designed by Kengo Kuma,
a world-renowned architect whose works such as the National Stadium and Takanawa Gateway Station
have attracted a great deal of attention. Normally it is not possible to see the chapel up close,
but Kengo Kuma Exhibition Ticket Holders can enter the chapel and take photos.

◇When: Third times a day 11:00/13:00/15:00
- Each guided tour lasts 15-25 minutes.

◇Only those who arrive by the above time will be accepted.
◇In addition, even if you do not participate in the guided tour, you can visit the chapel for 30 minutes after the above time by presenting your ticket.
◇Numbers: No limit during the Kengo Kuma Exhibition.
However, if you plan to attend in a group of 10 or more, please consult with us in advance.
◇Conditions for admission: Those who have purchased a ticket for the Kengo Kuma exhibition.
(please present your ticket to the chapel staff before entering the chapel).
◇The chapel tour alone will not be held during the Kengo Kuma Exhibition.

*Various discounts are not applicable.
*Admission fees will be used for moss and building maintenance.
*Please consult us separately for groups and tours.
*Please proceed slowly on the cobblestone pavement to protect the moss.
(please do not step into the moss area).
