Regarding Birch Moss Chapel tours

The Karuizawa New Art Museum is holding tours of the glass-walled chapel designed by Kengo Kuma,
a world-renowned architect whose works such as the National Stadium and Takanawa Gateway Station
have attracted a great deal of attention. Normally it is not possible to see the chapel up close,
but tour participants can take photos.

◇When: Third times a day 11:00/13:00/15:00
- each tour lasts 15-30 minutes.

◇Only those who have completed the application at our reception desk by the above times are admitted.
◇Numbers: Limited to 10 people (first-come-first-served basis; closes when capacity is reached).
◇Entrance fee: Chapel tour only: 500 yen
◇Free of charge for holders of tickets to the 2nd floor exhibition on the day of the visit.

*Various discounts are not applicable.
*Admission fees will be used for moss and building maintenance.
*If you are planning to visit the museum as part of a group architectural tour, please contact us separately. Please note that we are in general unable to accommodate visitors without a reservation.
