Fluxus-An artistic movement that brought together artists from all over the world.

Artists from many different countries participated in the artistic movement initiated by Lithuanian-born George Maciunas in the 1960s. It began in Europe and developed in New York.
The movement was called ‘Fluxus’ and pioneered a new artistic field, regardless of genre, such as art, music or literature.

Although underground at the time, the movement experimented with the basic forms of many current ideas in the arts, such as conceptual art, performance, multiple, mixed media and minimalism.

The main artists involved in this group were

In the USA, George Blect, Robert Watts and Dick Higgins.

In Europe, Joseph Beuys, Ben Vautier and Daniel Spoerri.

In Asia, Nam June Paik, Yoko Ono, Ay-O, Mieko Shiomi and many others.
