Room2
This room, which displays a mixture of Japanese-style paintings and oil paintings, is just like the environment that surrounds us. Visitors can travel through the diverse locations depicted in the paintings (mountains, forests, waterfalls, beaches, etc.) in the form of appreciation and experience the beauty, awe, and grandeur of nature all at once.

Room4
The fourth room features a variety of works created based on the expression of “land art,” which makes use of natural phenomena and the earth. Many of the land art works, which have been moved from indoors to outdoors, are dynamic, and visitors feel as if they are communicating with nature. It is also interesting to note that “land art,” which emerged against the backdrop of the commercial art trade, has the characteristic that it cannot be contained within a room and will not remain unless it is documented.

Room5-1
In the 5th room, a number of works that cross over into different fields and use nature as their subject matter are introduced.
Visitors are first greeted by flower-themed music at the entrance, and as they proceed, they are greeted by a variety of books, photographs, and products. This room shows how we are interested in the phenomena of nature and the universe, and how we apply them not only to artistic expression but also to our daily lives. Our thoughts and aesthetics about nature, showing the shape of the present and the possibilities for the future, are transformed into a variety of forms for our eyes to see.

Room6-1
In Room 6, daisy*’s AI-generated video works are exhibited; the coelacanths in the AI-controlled video are programmed to never move the same way twice. It is as if a real deep sea is expanding behind the screen, and the work gives us a sense of the possibilities of the present and future with the rapid development of science and technology. When we see a coelacanth swimming through the monitor, we have a beautiful and fantastic impression. Gradually, however, it leads to a reconsideration of the nature of art and our relationship with technology as well as the environment.

The word order of the exhibition title, Irreplaceable- Earth, Landscape, Environment, is linked to the layout of the exhibition.
We hope that this exhibition will provide an opportunity to reconsider and discover the “irreplaceable things” around us by looking at a number of works that were created with the environment as their starting point, from their past history to the way they will be in the future.
