About the Exhibition

Yuco Maruo is a well established artist known for her original "living" artworks showing a wonderful imaginary world, which is made up characters full of cuteness and beyond.
Each work, carefully formed and polished by her own hands, expresses lots of different emotions. Maruo's figurative art does not strongly addresses the messages, yet irresistibly shows the power of vitality. Such features of her work describes the artist's personality exactly, providing amazing sensations while still leaving room for the viewer to imagine their own stories.

The key words of this exhibition are "Encounter", "Chance", "Fortune"…, This is a collection of works that brings all these themes together and guides you on a journey through Maruo's latest experience. In this exhibition, Maruo releases her first ceramic work (approximately 10 new ceramic works )alongside the works from the previous exhibition "Emochim?".
