About the Exhibition


Kitagawa stands foremost among today’s copperplate engraving and solid objet fields. Expanding his ways of expression into photograph, poem, and writing as well as print, oil painting, and solid objet. His works, symphonized his acute poetic sensitivity and superb ability in design, uniquely stand in Japanese art world.
KaNAM gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition of Kenji Kitagawa, in honor of the publication of the book "Violation of beauty -Yosa Buson × Western art-" (published by Kyuryudo Art Publishing Co., Ltd) Collage works and sculptures will be mostly involved, also his representative engraving prints and the latest photographic works will be exhibited. The artist, Kenji Kitagawa will be present at the opening day of the exhibition.
